CS701
Isolated Signal Generator (0-65MHz, sine wave only) for serial numbers above 4000. The CS701 is rated at 300V RMS isolation (class III), and offers output levels from 1 mVp-p to 7 V p-p. You can use the CS701 for Power Supply FRA without needing an isolation injection transformer.
The CS701 Isolated Signal Generator is a plug-in module for the CS328A and CS320A Oscilloscopes. If you order at the same time as a CS328A or CS320A, the module will be factory fitted. You can use the CS701 for Power Supply FRA without needing an isolation injection transformer.
The CS701 Signal generator generates sine waveforms only. The amplitude may be varied between 0 and 7V pk-pk, in 1mV steps. The offset maybe varied from –3.5 to +3.5V in 1 mV steps. The generator can be FSK and PSK modulated, and Frequency swept. The sweep may be synchronized with the Spectrum Analyser to carry out transfer response measurement. The CS701 is supplied with an external 60 MHz BNC-BNC anti-aliasing filter for when the need arises. The filter is not required for FRA work.
