You are welcome to download the evaluation version of the CS300 Cleverscope application by clicking the link below. The application includes a software signal generator and will also display signals from the sound card line or mic inputs.

Evaluation Software, this is a 23.9 Mb file.

The evaluation version is generally not the latest build. It has no digital or advanced triggering capabilities or USB support; for that you need the full installation.

After you have downloaded the file, unzip it and run "setup.exe" to begin the installation process.

IMPORTANT: this version will only work on Win 2000, Win XP or Vista.

ALWAYS read the Cleverscope Update Instructions pdf included in the update file before starting

The latest version number is v4.649, dated 09 Jun 2010.

If you have already have CS300 software installed and wish to update, you should download Cscope Update 4649.zip, which is a 23.6 Mb file. There is NO need to do a re-install (in fact we actively discourage it!). The update is provided as a Windows compressed folder. Drag the Cscope Update 46xx update folder out of the compressed folder and store it somewhere convenient. (You can also use Winzip, but the Windows system uncompress is easier). Open the folder, and run setup.exe.

The Cleverscope Installer window will open, and you are presented with four choices. Those choices that are already up to date will not be ticked. However, you can still force an update if required by ticking the option.

If you own a classic CS320/328 (Serial number less than 4000) and you have updated your operating system please check the "Install Legacy Cleverscope CS328 Driver"

IMPORTANT: Do NOT load a v64xx binary into your classic Cleverscope CS328. It will break it! Always use the latest "Cleverscope ROM Loader.exe", which will protect you against this happening.

The latest version number is v4.649, dated 07 Dec 2009.

It is not required if you already have CS300 with version number greater than V34xx installed; you will only require the update available above.

To evaluate the software, the demonstration version above is more compact and is set up for working without an acquistion unit connected.
